Michelle H. Bass spoke at the 35th Annual Federal Bar Association Western District of Michigan Bankruptcy Section Seminar on July 29, 2023. Michelle’s panel discussion addressed recent trends in student loan non-dischargeability actions, non-bankruptcy relief programs, and the forgiveness of student loan debt for those eligible, in light of the new Department of Justice guidelines for seeking dischargeability of student loans in bankruptcy.
